Because when I apply the principles of the Bible, when I use the verses inside it, my life is deeper, richer, more peaceful than when I go it alone. The truths contained in it are life transforming; they will change your very thoughts and you will be happy to the core, not just on the surface.

Not true! Most has been validated by sources that were not Jewish or Christian! Cornelius was a Roman Soldier that documented events for the Roman Government. He is later found in Acts chapter 10 after the Crucifixion. His full legal name was Cornelius Tacitus. He could have been put to death for errors in his recoded documents.

Look up Pliny the Younger, Thallus, Hadrian, Suetonius, Julius Africanus they were not Christians! These are just a few New Testament historians. Other people and real places of the Old Testament are well documented.

The same way you know everything in DR Seuss books is real. You don't.

If you are religious than you take it at faith. It's a collaboration written by many people. The point of the stories are to teach you how to live your life.

There are too many inconsistencies in it for me but that's neither here nor there.

Certainly not everything in the Bible is true, because certain points contradict other points within itself.

That and pi =/= 3, whatever 1 Kings 7:23 says.

I just feel it's true so it is...in my own realm anyway and I figure my feelings are the only ones that truly count so that means then that the Bible has to be true in your realm too, otherwise it will make me feel uncomfortable and make me doubt my feelings and beliefs and then my religious freedoms will be jeopardized.
God loves you all and gives you the free will to clone and mimic my beliefs and my spiritual and moral goodness or go to hell...the choice is yours!
