It is a beautiful expression.

Earth life is an important part of Heavenly Father's plan for our development. While we live within society, we shouldn't adopt it's baser values.

For example, many people get caught up in seeking after what the world calls success (e.g., money, power). Instead we should direct our attention to what God calls success (e.g., developing a love for others, serving others).

Not only will this bring us greater happiness directly, it will allow us to feel the joy of helping others learn these principles of happiness.
