Not all computers have slots for this purpose. You may have to buy a card reader. But, you need to state the make, and model of the computer before anyone can help you. Also the year it was made would be helpful.
But if there is a card reader in the computer, it will be behind a door in the face of the computer tower in most cases.

you should be able to leave the card in your camera and then hook the camera to the computer using a usb cord to get the pics off. Most digital cameras work this way. But you will probably have to make sure the original software that came with the camera is installed in your computer first.

It will plug into your computer tower..usually a USB port. (look for a slot that matches the plug on back or front of tower. If you are not sure about this, go to the cameras home site and download a manual and driver package which will probably have software for it. Win xp and beyond, will recognize it when plugged in and you can manage it from there if you are proficient using "hardware manager".

You have to have a port. If you have one built-in (recent computers) it is on the front in the form of various slots for the different sizes and shapes. If you don't have one, you will have to buy a port box that connects by USB. Devices that handle virtually all the different cards cost well under $50. XP and Vista handle these automatically as added drives that you can copy from.

You can buy a component for your computer that's a card reader, which you can insert your card into.
If you don't have that, keep your memory card in your camera and attach your camera to the computer. Don't forget to install the software included with your camera. It's essential that you do install that.

You may need an external card reader but most cameras allow you to plug the camera directly into the computer using a USB cable.

I don't know how your camera works, but in mine you keep the memory card IN the camera, and I got a cable with the digital camera to connect it to my computer. From there the computer guides you.
Once it's connected the computer should find all teh pictures from your memory card.

You don't stick the memory card in the computer with most cameras. You get a USB cord, plug the smaller end(normally) into the camera and the other end into the computer. :) Hope I helped.

There should be an SD card slot on your laptop or computer, or use an external device like a multi I/O card reader. They are very cheap at Office Depot or Best Buy.
