God bless you for your compassion and concern for others. How sweet.
My whole family is in need of healing. My mother has diabetes, advanced cirrhosis, and other problems. She has been hemorrhaging badly and has been hospitalized many times over this and they have not been able to really help her much. I keep thinking about the story of the lady who had a hemorrhage, and went to Jesus and touched his cloak and was healed, because of her great faith. That lady sounds just like my mom! She has spent all her money on doctors who have not healed her.
My uncle (my mom's brother) also has cirrhosis, and he is dying from it. This is a genetic problem in my family, and none of us drink. He too has been bleeding, and has a terrible life. He has debt and has to try to work, while deathly ill.
I have been sick myself, and it turns out that I may have the same liver problems developing as they have. (My mom's dad apparently died from it when my Mom was 9. He bled to death!) I do not want to have inherited this illness. But they say that if I have, that I am young enough that they can probably help me before it gets too bad. But I am having trouble figuring out how to pay for the medical bills. I don't have any insurance. I have applied for aid, and while I'm waiting on approval, I have been putting off going to the doctor, because I can't afford it.
Thanks!

Yes, I would ask for prayer that I could be more patient with myself and another person with whom I truly love, that I would be more settled in what I would hope would be a mutual loving relationship for the rest of our lives. To me, at times, it seems too good to be true. I'm fearful that one day I'll wake up and it will be gone. I don't want it to end. My need for prayer also extends to her so that her tolerance for me will be as strong as it is with others, that her heart will rise above my faults to forgive me when I ask, and that she will accept the love I hold for her as true and real as peaches on a tree. I love this lady with all my heart and soul, and I would ask that God would plant this seed in her heart so that we may have enduring love together for as long as we shall both live.

I think this is wonderful of you to pray for people you don't even know. Just the thought of such a wonderful person like you makes me happy. I feel like you already have given me a blessing.

If they have needs, prayer won't help. It's just a way for you to feel good about doing something for others, without actually having to do anything for anybody. It's a waste of time and only serves to stroke your own ego.
If you want to help people for real, instead of just pretend, try going to a soup kitchen and helping out, or maybe give blood.
