Just say you like him but not in that way. Tell him you like him as a friend. No matter what he will be a little hurt but he will get over it. Maybe you two can still be friends if you talk things out with him about it and never rub another guy that you are seening in his face thats just hateful.

Do just that. Turn him down nicely, just tell him look I think you are a nice person but I'm not interested right now. Keep it plain and simple, he can't nothing but respect that.

Telling the truth in an ideal world would yield great results. But, our world is hardly ideal and neither are the individuals on it.
You can always lie. I'm sorry, but, most guys just will not handle the truth well. These always work:
- "I'm sorry, but, I'm not looking to get into a relationship."
- "I'm busy with school (substitute work for extra effect) and I just don't have time for a relationship"
You CAN always tell them honestly that you just flat out are not interested in him, but, not every guy will handle it well.

Tell him the truth. Try and smile, but don't make a joke about it. Don't be so direct as to "No, I don't like you and I never will". Try and be nice about it, but ensure that what you're saying is truthful. If the case calls for it, tell him you just like him as a friend. Past that, you really can't do more than wait for his reaction.

You can turn down a guy nicely by telling him that you dont like him politely.Speak slowly so he can understand. If he says something then, listen....by the way, dont laugh. If you laughed, he will think that you're joking so be serious and, if he gets mad, say sorry.I hope that i helped you.

Just smile and say you really appreciate it but that you're not dating anyone at the moment and you're trying to focus on ... school, work, spending more time with friends, etc. Or if you don't really know him that well, just tell him you already have a boyfriend. Good luck :)

You just have to say no, I'm sorry. No explanation is necessary but you may feel you need to give one such as 'I'm seeing someone already'. The guy should respect your wishes.

Be truthful. Tell him it wouldn't be such a great idea because you don't have romanic feelings for him. Don't lie or make false excuses, lies will come back on you and he deserves the truth.
