Somebody please help! I need to lose 20 pounds by that date. It's my wedding date. Since I've started dating my fiance, I have put on 15-20 pounds! He really likes Dr. Pepper and got me hooked on it. I also have been eating more fast food cause I work and it's quicker for lunch. I've also gotten into the habit of eating junk food (I wish my mom didn't buy it).

Not all of those things are because of him. Just the Dr. Pepper thing. I used to have a lot more will power. I used to eat better, avoid junk food, and I drank nothing but water.

How do I get myself back into this state of mind? I bought the most beautiful dress (it was like $300, very good deal for how detailed it is). My stomach sticks out and it feels very tight. If I lost that weight, it would fit very nicely.

I joined SparkPeople to help track my weight, but do you have any other tips? I need motivation.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Hang in there girl. first of all...you need to have a good mind set. You need to believe that you can loose those pounds. second: try to eat more fruits and veggies. You should have at least three fruits and veggies every day. but start out slow so you don't get sick of em'. #3: Try to keep away from sugary foods and drinks. Even if that means you only get to drink one pop a day. And the Fourth: Take 5-15 minutes a day to do some simple exercising to get your blood pumping. It gives you a jump start to your day, and you'll be feeling much better about yourself. And the fifth: do something nice to someone daily, It will make you feel great, and you'll be giving to people too, cause' that one "you look great today" could brighten up not only their day, but yours too! I hope this will help.

Read the book "Body for Life" and follow the daily workouts. Especially the cardio days. It works. Replace the Dr Pepper with water. Drink 100 oz per day and you will lose weight. Also, consider doing a colon cleanse.

I lost 13 lbs. in 4 weeks and you eat a ton of real food. I ate at Wendy's and McDonalds and still lost weight. You can always order a plain salad (no dressing, cheese or sauce) and a piece of grilled chicken.
Good Luck!!
