Right now more if you buy it at a pump but if you live out where maybe a farmer grows alot of corn see if he knows how to make it and run it. But you should know that you have to do some things to your fuel system before running Ethel

If you are talking about ETHANOL...
it is much more expensive.... in every part of our lives.
Using corn to make fuel is the stupidest idea that ANYONE has ever come up with.
Reason being... we use corn in so many things.
Even your Pepsi you are enjoying right now will go up a lot. (corn syrup) Our livestock eat corn.. so our dairy, chicken, beef and pork will me unaffordable. Leather and cotton too. Even or vegetables will go up. Farmers will not plant other crops as to take advantage of planting corn in their place.
There is so many other things that they could have used besides corn to make ethanol... hog crap, chicken litter and even our own sewer waste.

Also, if talking about ethanol, it gives you less mpg than gasoline. Where I live, E85 is only 20 cents cheaper than unleaded, but I'd lose about 3 mpg for my vehicle (I had an option to buy regular of E85 ready).

if you make it yourself form waste veggie oil it can be alot cheaper, however mass harvested and produced bio diesel is around the same price as petroleum based diesel as it takes alot of work to make. If only the governments would invest into and subsidise bio fuels as much as they do with fossel and nuclear then it would be cheaper.
