I discovered a while back that my ex had alot of rape porn in his computer( spent two hundred dollars on it) and is still on-.line roleplaying brutal rapes in the virtual world. Does this mean he is sick and I should worry? We have since broke up, and I'm not a prude, but i hope he wouldn't ever hurt a girl in Real life?

He paid two hundred on this pornography( which is at least simulated) and doesn't pay child support. Told me he didn't have the money to, yet he had the money for this crap. I'm glad he is out of my life for good. Thanks for all the great answers!

I think you relationship with him should have been more public and not just a 'break-up'. He clearly doesn't view money as an issue and spending 200$ on porn is obsessive he needs to go to a mental hospital. I think you should have the police keep a eye on him and check out his background to see if he has raped before....chances are he probably has or really really wants to since he finds it so facinating.

Surprisingly it's probably harmless. Violent/rape porn is A LOT more common than you think, in both men and women. It's hardly ever related to mental illness/dangerous behavior. Most men that watch rape/violent porn are sexually turned on by the scenes acted out in a fantasy but would NEVER condone or commit actual rape.

He sounds like me. Rape fantasy has been part of me since early childhood, but I would NEVER rape a woman in real life. I do, however, engage in bdsm (bondage/domination/submission/masochism) sexual practices with consenting females. If he does engage in non-consensual rape, he should go to prison like anyone else. If he's smart, he doesn't have to do that to indulge his fantasies.
Given that he has paid for rape porn, I'm betting he's smart enough to stay inside the law. It's not that hard to find willing submissive women.

Well, I have a female friend that enjoys rape fantasies. She tells me all the time about how it turns her on.She has a computer full of that kind of porn. .I SERIOUSLY doubt she would want to be raped in real life though. I'm guessing your ex is doing something similar. Let's just hope he keeps it as a fantasy and doesn't try to turn it into reality because the two are entirely different.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. This is a very common male sexual fantasy, one of the most common. The fact that he is finding his release in pornography rather than the real world may be either a good sign or a bad one, depending on his personality type. In any case, since you're not involved with him any more, there's no reason to create a problem for yourself that isn't yours.

I would worry. Don't go anywhere near him. But unless the porn is illegal (?) i don't think there is any thing you can do. I don't know if rape porn is illegal or not...

That's very possible. The fact that he would go as far as to role play being a rapist is crazy. I'm glad that you got out while you could, he does NOT seem to be mentally stable. You could report this to the police as well if your concerned. Having possession of pictures of "brutal" rapes on his computer could land him in jail for a few years.

I think that's sick and very worrying. Not sure what you can do about it, though, except be very glad he is your ex.
