We have recently had an extension to a garden wall and some bricks replaced on the original one.The bricks replaced are a different shade.I would like to make them all the same.

hey I'm a painter and while some places are alot more expensive than others (homebase b&q) i would recomend laylands,decor or crown, you will get a 10 ltr drum for around £13 - £16. i would personally get it from laylands they have a 15 year gaurantee

If this is your home [you are not renting], then I would buy the best possible paint for the surface and the conditions it will be subjected to. Unless you are the type of person who changes the colour scheme every few years, then a cheaper paint won't matter so much. If, however you want the best finish and protection from the elements and for your home, be guided by the experts and get the best paint you can afford. You won't be sorry for doing the job correctly, I guarantee!! Good luck!!

If the new bricks are the same colour as the original, then sand blast or jet wash then treat with thompsons water seal

Do not buy Sherwin Williams, it is not good on wear. Buy Behr Ext. Paint from Home Depot. For the price it is amazing!

there is no such thing as a good and cheap exterior paint...especially when it comes to a garden wall...as the weather can attack from both sides ..use dulux weather shield ..but on a garden wall expect to paint it every year

B&Q do a lot of their own make paints very reasonable and they had a sale on the other day
