in rev 17 the whore of Babylon is nimrods wife Semiramis the beginning of pagan worship that she started . all things start from one source their is some truth in all things but you have to decide what is truth and what is just a nice story plot but then again its just what you believe in . the bible is just the beginning of the teaching of Christ in order to fully understand the holy bible you have to understand the people and the times and the culture and the mythology behind it . a large part of the bible was written before there was a written language and everything was passed on by the word of mouth or oral tradition . the bible that we have to day and the books in it had to hold up certain things before it was even allowed to be apart of the cannon . the old testament was all ready there in Judaism but the new testament was just getting started to be put together . anyway I'm rambling on Babylon represents the things in this world that is contrary to gods word and his commandments its the things that pleases the flesh not the spirit remember that its gods will to be done not ours. study and read about Semiramis yes its mythology BUT it all depends on what you believe in and some of the books on her are counterversel. but remember that there is some truth in all things . good luck and may the lord be with you and your family

No, America isn't the thriller Babylon. Babylon is now trendy day Iraq or Iran. The thriller of the W of Babylon is again in time, earlier than Christ, she used to be only a mortal lady who gave her soul to Satan for a few of his powers, which of path sort of like is a demonic marriage. She loves to drink the "Blood of Saints", I bet it continues her watching younger.

Babylon is not a big mystery, it is a general term, often used in prophecy, that refers to those who do not follow God.

I have to say that it is the Roman Catholic Church. Not Roman Catholics everywhere, so don't get me wrong, but the corrupted inner workings and people at it's heart. It's the only thing that I know of that really matches with those things discussed about it.
