Look, We Did Nothing as a islamic community.. then you see it everywhere, "Bash Islam" "Kill the Muslims"

its not right... The Society is judging us by 14 terrorist's actions...

that can be easily countered, Ok 4 Catholic men rape a women does that make all the Catholics Rapist? Of course not. But its diffrent with the muslims why? Why are we being singled out and trying to be brought down and made fun of... We dont make fun of Jesus BECAUSE WE BELIVE IN HIM TO. Learn to Respect our religion like we respect yours, We don't throw the bible in the toliet why throw the Quran in there?

Any illegal violence against Muslims by individual Catholics (or anyone else) is condemned by the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church teaches, "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

"It is my ardent hope that Muslim and Christian religious leaders and teachers will present our two great religious communities as communities in respectful dialogue, never more as communities in conflict."
-- Pope John Paul II, Meeting with Muslim Leaders in Omayyad Great Mosque, Damascus, May 6, 2001. http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/speeches/2001/documents/hf_jp-ii_spe_20010506_omayyadi_en.html

Christians and Muslims, following their respective religions, point to the truth of the sacred character and dignity of the person. This is the basis of our mutual respect and esteem, this is the basis for cooperation in the service of peace between nations and peoples, the dearest wish of all believers and all people of good will.

As an illustration of the fraternal respect with which Christians and Muslims can work together, I would like to quote some words addressed by Pope Gregory VII in 1076 to a Muslim prince in North Africa who had acted with great benevolence towards the Christians under his jurisdiction. Pope Gregory spoke of the particular charity that Christians and Muslims owe to one another “because we believe in one God, albeit in a different manner, and because we praise him and worship him every day as the Creator and Ruler of the world.”
-- Pope Benedict XVI, Meeting with the President of the Turkish Religious Affairs Directorate in Ankara, Turkey, November 28, 2006. http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/speeches/2006/november/documents/hf_ben-xvi_spe_20061128_pres-religious-affairs_en.html

It's not just Christians, it's everyone. The world community as a whole is down with Islam.

Gee, I wonder why!

Until the Muslim community speaks out against suicide bombers, Islam will remain a threat to everyone. Until 15% of the American-Muslim community that was polled and believes suicide bombing is okay, then Islam will be shunned by the American populace. Until Muslims quit hijacking planes, trains, and automobiles, Islam will remain a threat to the world population.

Bottom line, until the Muslim community earns back the trust of the world community, Islam will remain a feared, despised, and distrustful religion and culture of death.

The majority aren't. You are doing the same thing. You are judging the many for the actions of a few. By the way, the Muslim community could do a themselves a service if the spoke out against the actions of the terrorist and there are a lot more than fourteen.

First off..one of the things that you have to remember is that you shouldnt generalize...being Islamic you should know very well that not all the people are the same..so no not all CHristian and Catholics bash Islamics and not Islamics are totally innocent because there are some who do bash Chritians. Second Catholics are Christian...THird off, i think the reason that people feel such hatred is because a lack of knowledge. They dont understand or comprehend what you believe and many people do not even know what it is you believe. Ignorance leads people to do crazy things.

You are part of the problem. You look at Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians and only see the bad.

Do you honestly believe all Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians preach "Bash Islam" and "Kill the Muslims"? If you do, you're not being honest. You are only looking where you want to look; seeing what you want to see. Such subjective generalizations are ALWAYS wrong.

In light of the fact you are upset over generalizations made towards Islam, it is disingenuous to levy generalizations against Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too.

I don't think any Christian has said "Kill the Muslims" ... it's Muslim extremists who are "killing Muslims", because they are why troops are situated in the middle east, and they are killing their own people who don't abide by their extreme laws.
Your questions should be, "Why Do Extremist Muslims Always Try To Bring Islam Down"... and sadly they do it successfully. It's their actions that cause Military intervention. Particularly sad, because they bring their terror into other countries. You should direct your anger towards those who misrepresent your religion, if anything.
I don't agree with the war, just making a point.

just because some christian or catholics put islam down don't mean all christians do, I agree with some of the islam and i am christian, but what I want to know is how do muslims get into heaven? what did mahammed do for muslims? I am married to a muslim man and I do respect his religion, but I must say that I think some of the islam has made people very deceived and a lot of islam people who want out, are scared to get out, they are very scared of what their families will think or do to them, and that is not the way to be if you truly know God.

I'm a Christian believer. I was born and raised Catholic and even went to Catholic school for 8 years. But even after many years going to church and catechism, it wasn't until I was born again, 3 years ago, that my walk as a believer in Christ really took meaning. I will always value the education and initial guidance the Catholic Church provided for me but I do not see myself as Catholic. My relationship is most important with God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Once a Catholic and now proud to be truly Christian.

First, you are bringing Christians and Catholics down by saying a few of them dislike Muslims. I happen to love people no matter what their religion. Well, you are being just as bad by classifying us as all "Muslim killers" which we aren't. Second, if Christian's and Catholics are really Bible believer's and think they were formed in His image, then they would know that God says "Love one another" and do not bring others down. Jesus loves you!

Many Christians (a term which includes Catholics) DO treat Muslims with respect. Unfortunately, no religion is free of ignorant people.
