I think each and every one of us is important in this life
I believe in a God energy
and I believe that we are all very important in the bigger picture
I believe that each of us where given a little truth and that all our little truths put together will reveal bigger truths ( if we just started to listen to each other )
I believe that even the atheist is important in this bigger picture
without someone who opposes a God , we would have no discussion , no motivation to move on in scienctific field
we need people who question and doubt
I believe that we all live on after death , this life is only a short detour on our journey
So we have to treat each other with respect and respect their choices and beliefs ( or lack of )
put down your stones
because we cannot progress spiritually if we don't see the importance of every single person

Oh, that's hilarious, thanks, thanks, you really made me laugh.
'Even the atheist is important...' oh, funny, funny. You consider us above the worms and viruses, well thank you, I really value you even considering us lowly creatures. Please don't count me in though, I've got my own bigger picture and I don't want to be part of yours.

Good Morning Pangel;

Yesterday, someone included a link with their answer. I went there and it answered something for me, a piece to my own puzzle.

I've seen people answer with "I don't follow links", and that's the end of it for them, IF I would have thought that, I would have missed it! IF I would have considered who was sending the link, if I like him or agreed with him, I would have missed it. The information was key for me, and beyond that I didn't make it matter.

There is just alot of inner resistance in many people, here Personally, I see this as not about the importance of others, but in how self-important we consider ourselves. How changeable you can be. How many self-definition you go by.

Anything about you that is set, sets up flags when challenged. Moveable, flexible, conscious people tend to be less disturbed by others beliefs, and can see beyond it. That's how you can draw certain people to you no matter what beliefs they hold.

Beliefs are tools. People are shaped by what they believe. IF you want to be reshaped, you change your belief about something. That is why if the belief doesn't evolve over long periods of time, it produces a holding pattern in our evolution. (my beef, right there). The resistance that I see here isn't about WHO is important, but gunning over tools. Since, the tools most common on this forum are polar opposites, we have huge amount of electrical charge.

Calling recess, having funny off-the-wall questions, drinking to each other, etc, etc are the gloves-down of this forum. Just remember to look for it.

I agree everyone is important. I believe in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I believe the Bible is the true Word of God. I believe in loving everyone enough to be honest with them and offer them the truth even when they treat me with contempt because they disagree with my beliefs.

Do you want to know what I think?
I think your first sentence ("I think each and every one of us is important in this life") is the only one that says anything about what you think; the rest is what you Believe. I think there is a important difference between what we think and what we Believe. Thinking will eventually lead to Knowledge, Believing only leads to more Beliefs.
So Yes, I want to know what you think, and I would like for you to share the Knowledge you've gained as a result of your thinking.
I'm not particularly interested in the sharing of Beliefs; yours, mine, or anyone else's.

I thought that you think this way. I believe that Jesus is the way and He is the truth and He is the life, and no one will go to heaven except through Jesus. But I am fine with people's opinions about this. I want to talk with people about it if they can, but some people cannot talk about this issue because they are mad at me for even believing it.

Loving God is not important to all people, but it is to me.

Iknow what you mean, but are we really supposed to put those truths together like a puzzle (tower of babylon) or simply live out our own lives with the gifts we've been given?

I don't necessarily want to know what you think, just that you actually do.

I'm glad that you seem to have thought about things and come to your own conclusions about the World around you rather than just being brainwashed into spouting endless dogma and passages from the Bible without any obvious sign that you have thought about or even understand what you're saying.

I'm glad that you are happy in your beliefs and don't seem to feel the need or obligation to force others to believe the same or damn them to hell if they don't.

The World needs more people like you.

I like what you believe, pangel.
I may disagree on some minor points, but overall, I understand and would love to see people stop fighting over religion and using it as an excuse to destroy one another.
