my knee is starting to really ache atm, i know this is a common problem, where the knee caps are tilted outwards but what have people done to help it, what do they find helps when it is aching

oh sorry i did see a doctor a few years ago but they didnt really say much about treatment. it has been going on since i was 8(im now 25) and sometimes doesnt bother me for a few years. i didnt do anything to aggrivate it and it doesnt always ache it seems to come and go every few months where it aches for a few days on and off and then it doesnt bother me again for a while

My right knee is a pain in the neck too. Try cold and then heat and also there is a patch, you cut it to size, that you can put on your knee and it keeps a constant source of heat and kind of numbs it out as well. Also you should see a doctor and make sure that there isn't an operation that you can have, it doesn't get better, sorry.
Try some physical therapy too, you might be able to strengthen your knee. And when it starts to bother you, don't push it, back off before you make it any worse!
One last tip, when you go to bed, put a pillow between your knees, it helps to 'cushion' your knee so you don't wake up so sore and struggle to move about. Good luck!

If you are jogging or using stair steppers to work out stop that activity immediately. See a doctor. If your an adult you can take ADVIL, 600mg (3 tabs). will help with pain. See a Doc.
