Ok, if God created everything in the Universe and all of the animals and all of us, how come when a woman gets pregnant, or any other animal for that matter, the fetus follows the progression of evolution? I mean seems kind of weird that he would do that. So, if you can explain that to me I'd really like to know.

10 pts. to the answer that even makes remote sense.

No wonder you guys can't grasp the concept, you guys don't even know what I'm talking about. LOL. I agree it's development, but what I'm asking is why, when it develops, at each stage can it be classified in a phylum in the same progression in which animals evolved? There does that help?

God created peolple. When Eve disobeyed Him and ate fruit from the tree of knowledge, she was punished. He cursed women to evermore bear children and have great pain doing so. It is in the Bible, book of Genesis. Read it and believe!

God Bless!

Fifi,
The DNA give the Characteristics to the child. It has nothing to do with "evolutionary progression". Evolution would say that the child would progress to adapt to it's surroundings. If such were the case, then a child born in extremly cold climate might be born with fur or a heavy protective outer skin to keep it warmer. This does NOT happen. Have a great LORD's DAY!
Thanks,

I suggest you check the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recapitulation_theory This theory is sometimes summarized as 'ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny - it is not literally true, unless you define th word 'follows' (in your question) very selectively.

But to help you: creationists have no answer for it. As the article indicates, people who don't believe in evolution use the rejection of the literal interpretation of the phrase as an argument against evolution, and they are wrong. I haven't seen anything in the answers provided to your question so far that addresses this.

You addressed your question to Christians. Most Christians, of course, accept evolution, as a scientific theory. So for most Christians there is no problem with this. A signficant proportion of Christians who don't believe in evolution live in the USA, and that might distort the impression you have of Christians and evolution.

Why I don't know I prayed about this question and God gives this scripture for you to mediatate on,you may find your answer here.

1 Cor 15:34. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35. But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36. Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37. And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38. But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43. It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Given the fact that God created everything why do we have trouble believing He could use evolution process for His purpose.

You got the evolution definition wrong.

1 million years ago the fetus developed in the uterus the same way it does today. No evolution there.

Evolution is....1 million years ago we needed our wisdom teeth to eat raw meat, now we don`t use them anymore so most of people wisdom teeth will not grow out, we don`t eat raw meet anymore so our jaws aren't so big anymore, now we cloth ourselves so we`re not so heary anymore ( that is evolution )

You seem to have confused 'development' with the word evolution.
Evolution is the turning into something new.
Everything a baby becomes was in the DNA from the start.
That's development.

LOL. That has nothing to do with God. The only thing related to pregancy would be that girls birth the kids because Eve (in the Bible), was the one to initiate going and eating the apple of the forbidden tree.

Why are you only calling to Christians? That is what I hate about some people in Yahoo! Answers. They believe Christians only believe in God. Now back to your question.

Well, it is not evolution in which man changes. It is about the child being born, not evolved.
