please dont put global warming and science in the same sentence. Its a myth made up by some wack jobs to make them think they are doing somethign noble, and to attack the prez. ( i wonder why there was no talk about global warming while clinton/gore were in office...hmmmmm) THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING

The fact that the planet's surface temperature has been rising overall since the last ice age is fact, and that it has risen by more than a degree Celsius in the past 30 years is fairly well researched and established as well. Anyone who says this hasn't happened is practicing junk science or no science at all.
Determination of the causes of climate change is still a young science, and there is still a lot to be learned about it. Therefore, claims that mankind is partially or totally to blame for recent global warming is somewhat speculative, and based only on what we know. There are margins of error on every estimate, and as long as estimates for these margins of error are properly evaluated, it isn't junk science either.
The junk science comes in only when people who don't have a clue what they're talking about start spouting off their opinions, based only on a movie they've seen or an article they're read, or based on some singular piece of evidence like "it snowed a lot in Colorado last year." Unfortunately, there's a lot of junky arguments on both sides of the debate, and that makes for junk science.
Oh yeah, and conspiracy theories like the oil companies are behind the anti-global warming debate, or liberals who want to ruin the economy are behind the pro- debate, is really junk science.

I'd hazard a guess from your question that you beleive it to be junk science, given all the contradictory evidence and distortions that are going around it's easy to understand why.
Global warming is far from a new idea, it's almost 200 years since the notion was first considered and over 100 years since it became established fact (Svante Arrenhius in 1896). Since then there has been an inordinate amount of scientific study into the causes and effects of global warming.
In recent years politics and religion have become involved and this has caused a lot of controversy. The media haven't been particularly helpful either as they like to over dramatise the real science and paint a picture of a doomsday scenario.
The notion that global warming is junk science has only come about since the politicisation of the issue and since large corporations engaged scientists to follow an aggenda of discrediting the established facts.
I've studied global warming myself for 23 years - not to prove or disprove it but to conduct independent research and examine the evidence. It makes no difference to me which way my conclusions come out. I have yet to come across any real evidence that disproves global warming, I've seen substantial amounts of evidence that prove it to be so but other than the questioning of some aspects of the methodology used there's nothing to suggest it's not real.
Further, knowing how global warming works makes it impossible to deny. The basis is nothing more than a simple physical property of atmospheric gas. If global warming is junk science then the laws of physics need to be rewritten.

Great question, and for those believing everything the paid-off media is telling, what are you going to do about it?
Have you did any research on what it will take to reverse such a global disaster? It's not too big for you to handle, no matter what you think. But if we each did a little something to stop waste, well we wouldn't need a governing body any longer, they would go broke, and could stop feeding off of us--really it's true.
Air pollutants get washed right back to the soil during rain, so its sitting there waiting to be cleaned up. Plant some mushrooms, they will eat up any contamination and turn them into an edible source in less than one month! Then write down this recipe http://www.cooksrecipes.com/mless/three_cheese_and_wild_mushroom_pizza_recipe.html and start calling your friends to pitch in for the ingredients, then throw a party and tell them what they just finished eating- freaks them out, then they'll ask you for mushrooms that they can grow too.

No. Because of the peer reviewed data, 99+% of all scientists agree it's real.
"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”
Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)
Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut and the first Commander of the Naval Space Command
Here are two summaries of the mountain of data that convinced Admiral Truly, short and long.

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know - except maybe Newton's second law of dynamics. Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point,You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."
Dr. Jerry Mahlman, NOAA
The skeptics are the junk science guys.
" A Channel 4 documentary claimed that climate change was a conspiratorial lie. But an analysis of the evidence it used shows the film was riddled with distortions and errors."

Nope. Scientific evidence can prove that it is happening. The debate is the cause.
Science has been able to show that warming and cooling has been cyclical.
I think it's amusing that there are certain people out there that would like you to believe that we are not contributing to it by emitting green house gases. The truth is that we will be struggling to deal with this problem whether or not we want to believe it is real.
It would really be great if global warming was just fiction but, it's the real deal.
Just on another note:
We will also be struggling together. People who may have otherwise been healthy because of their financial situation will have been exposed to toxins because they are falling from the sky. They be in the soil, water, and our food source.
This is just in regards to the pollutants and not the rapid climate change. Our actions, whether positive or negative are going to make a big difference in our ability to survive.

No man, I disagree with that. Global warming is already a major breakthrough in other countries. Global warming isn't a theory anymore, it's already happening right now none of even knew because none of us even care. If we start saving trees and recycling garbage, we will have a good future for the next generations to come.

Yes.
For example.... The number one most abundant greenhouse gas is water vapor. Any ideas on how to reduce the amount of moisture in the atmosphere?
My biggest laugh in the last few weeks was an article blaming the rise in average temperature on the planet Mars on a "Martian" version of "global warming", when the only logical explanation for an increase in temperatures both here and on Mars is an increase in solar radiation

Honestly, I don't care whether global warming is real or not. I think it's unwise to dump a bunch of crap in the air either way.
