So you would have the lives of 3400+ Americans be for nothing. Are you really naive enough to believe this was about Sadam? This is about the taking away the ability to be a breeding ground and an exportation platform for people to attack the US and our allies. It is about telling the world that once again the American resolve will not tolerate acts against our citizens and allies. Many confuse this by screaming "no blood for oil" without understanding that it isn’t for the oil itself. The oil is a means to an end for these terrorists. They sell the oil to make the money to buy the ability to export their will. And our will is in a direct confrontation with theirs. Saying lets pull out now is like giving a friendly hug to the guy who just killed your brother in a drive-by. I know the good Christian thing to do is "turn the other cheek" but both of them have already been slapped. Its time to slap back!

We all want them home too, my husband is going back to iraq again in 2months, but now Bush has extended everyone for 15months instead of 8months or 12months like it use to be..What can we do? I'm scared this time because he has to go on convoys this time..What can we do? Just pray..I put all faith in my God.

Thank you...I was beginning people here all thought we should still be over there. I think the whole reason were over there is B.S.. We got Saddam, we are stealing their oil and wrecking their country. Who cares if the goverment gets overthrown....it's their country. They all live over there and are used to the violence and unrest. We aren't going to make it another USA...that's impossible. Bush is a horrible politician and the whole world looks upon Americans like idiots. It's a sad state of affairs.

We made a mess in someone else's back yard and now we just pack up and go home. If I came to your house to build you a new roof. And once I had torn off the old one I figured out that I didnt know how to put on a roof. Would it be OK for me to just go home? Or should I stay until I figured out a way to fix that roof?
