Mag Sulfate, also known as Epsom salts, is used topically to treat minor infections and internally to treat pregnancy related seizures and certain cardiac arrhythmias (among other things).
It is never used as an antacid.

For a substance to act as an antacid, it must itself be alkaline.

Magnesium sulphate is a salt of a strong acid and a strong base, so it is neutral. So it does not find its use as a antacid
