the fact is, if you want to adopt a child in America, the waiting list is about 5 years for a newborn baby.
In my home town the biggest abortion facility is across the street from an infertility clinic. Now why can't we just introduce the people from this side of the street to the ones on that side of the street?
It takes courage, love, and selflessness to carry a child for nine months and then place that baby in the arms of a childless couple. That is an act of complete love. I have great admiration for those who do it. Unfortunately, it's just too easy to go off to the abortion facility and get rid of it.

The problem is that the churchies are trying to tackle this from the wrong level. They try to tell women that having sex is wrong until you're married, but they do nothing to prevent it from happening. If they were willing to support a comprehensive sex education for all children and provide free and easy to obtain contraception, then we would see a great decline in the number of abortions administered.
BUT, they don't want to do that because then it's saying that sex is ok, which of course it is, as long as appropriate precautions are taken.
I wish they'd stay out of everyone's business or at least try to solve it with prevention rather than terrorism.

I am very proud of my late mother, who decided to help my sister (twenty five years ago) raise her daughter, so that my sister didn't didn't feel she had to have an abortion. When my niece was twelve, and old enough, she went back to her mother (who had to work for those twelve years to maintain the insurance policy, and to provide financial support). The world is a better place, because of people like mom, who were a part of the solution, and because of my sister who learned by example, the love of a mother.

There are many natural family planning methods that are more effective than contraceptive pills. The Church has also organizations which adopt unwanted children.
Human life must be respected and absolutely protected from the first moment of conception. The rights of the human person (especially the right to live) must be recognized from the first moment of existence. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I consecrated you" (Jer 1:5).
Peace and blessings!

I am a pro-life... We have too many alternatives than unwanted pregnancy: Whenever you make love, make sure you're wearing a safety or your girl taking birth control pill.
Or implant IUDs for those who want having sex but don't want to have babies...

lying about the effectiveness of contraception
Hey Kathryn, I always had sex with condoms and still my girlfriend that time get pregnant and we aborted it....
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER TOOK
You won't know the dark side of abortions til you're there, see it yourself -if you're honest to your conscience-.

Have you ever noticed that the vast majority of anti abortionist are all people that are [no longer] capable of having children them self. Once and a while you see the "token" young woman, but that's it. Respect a womans choice is the only right thing to do.

it seems that no one is willing to help in this way sweetie
I am pro choice but yet I do believe more should be done to prevent and to help should this happen
although I am not in a situation where I could help personally
but then again , I am not the one strongly opposed to abortion

Abortion is flat out wrong. Here is the only proven solution: Don't have sex until you are married. You can't get pregnant nor contract STD's that way.I am against a federal intervention, help needs to come from the Church's in that specific area.

If I had the money I would help. There are uncountable couples out there who want a baby. They don't care how it was conceived. They just understand better than many what a miracle it truly is.
