I am trying to purchase a rug but unable to figure out its price due to the difference in calculation conversions.
The rug size I need is 1.5 meter X 1.0 meter.
The manufacturer offered me a price of $6.4 per sq ft.
How do I calculate this to figure out the price of the rug I need?
Please help!

1 m x 1.5 m = 1.5 m²

1.5 m² = 16.15 sq. ft.

16.15 ft² x $6.4 / ft² = $103.36

Here is the unit conversion program I used to change from square meters to square feet.

1 sq ft = 0.0929 sq m or 1 sq m = 10.7639 sq ft.
Your rug has an area of 1.5 sq m = 16.146 sq ft so the price would be $103.33.

I converted 1.5 meter and 1.0 meters into 4.9 feet and 3.3 feet and Multiplied them together to get 16.17 sq.ft. and at $6.40 per sq ft. it comes to a total of $ 103.48. I'm sure this helps.

Let's see - it's 2.54 centimeters per inch, that's 2.54x12 to get centimeters per foot (30.48) and that is .3048 meters per foot.

1.5 meters / .3048 m per foot = 4.921 ft
1.0 meters / .3048 m per foot = 3.281 ft
4.921 * 3.281 = 16.15 sq ft

16.15 sq ft * $6.4 per sq ft = $103.36

but they will probably only sell to you a 5 foot by 3.5 rug.
5*3.5= 17.5 sq ft 17.5*$6.4 = $112
