I have just received some "Complaint- Sworn, and Summons' in the mail requesting my presence at a Magistrates Court in Brisbane in a few weeks in regards to some traffic offenses leading to a car accident.

I can not attend the summons because it's INTERSTATE (I live in Adelaide). There isn't any contact information. I just want to pay the fine/fee specified on the sheets and leave everything be. What do I do???

Thank you for the replies so far. In response, well I don't know HOW to pay the fine, it just says "FEE - $65" on 3 similar letters, no details on how to pay, no contact information. At best, there's just the return address on the envelope, which was the Police Station in Brisbane who dealt with me. If all else fails, I'll look up their number, give them a call, and try not to sound like too much of a noob eh?

Pay the fine and submit the documents evidencing the payment so that your case will already be closed and the summons for your appearance will now be moot and academic.

talk to an attorney, even though it's interstate if you ignore it you could lose your license or worse.they could issue an attachment if you choose to do nothing.
wasn't there a return address on the envelope.
I used to work at a driving school and it's a good idea to take a defensive driving class,it looks good in traffic court.
