6 months ago,a guy told me that he likes me, although he is 2 grades above me. we didnt go out as he had a problem with the age different. Now i hear that in february he kept on talking about me to his classmates, but they laughed so he stoped.Since then, whenever he saw me, he would on purposely flirt with the girls and act as if he is popular.We take the same train home, and he used to sit with me, but now he doesnt anymore, he'd rather sit with a smoker, although he hates smokers.I have a good friend since march, and since then he flirts with her infront of me, but he didnt before i started hanging out with her.On friday i came home from a fieldtrip and he was there! he plays soccer, and we finally talked again, he kept on shooting the ball at me, and tried to get my attention. He even tried to impress me by making tricks infront of me. I told him bout a 12 grader, liking me.. he didnt say anything at all.. does that mean he isnt jealous?.i found pictures of him at the pool w/girls.

Ahh to be young again!
Lucky, you are in a stage of your life where you experience how boys (not men) respond to the 'i like her but I don't want to get hurt' cycle of life. Sometimes boys will make comments just to see how a response is made, or not make a comment just to see if she makes a comment first. His obvious back and forth ways are trying to get you to notice him without him having to do all the work and avoid getting hurt. My suggestion is to fancy his ego. At that age, boys LOVE their egos being fed! (sometimes that doesn't change when they become men, but that's a different story) If he sees that you notice him, then he won't have too much of a problem being more forward with you as well. Don't mention other boys, just talk about each other when you are with him and see how it goes.

Maybe he gets turned off by your immature behavior. Stop obsessing about stupid things and start acting like a fun person to be around. You'll be far more attractive to him when you start showing that you're growing up and becoming a more confident person.

it sounds like he does like you but his freinds are influencing him because they may think you are too young. young love is so complicated but dont try to play games because games lead to more games. if hes being silly then move on to someone who you can talk to and trust. he may not show his jealousy but may feel it. he sounds a bit immature. ignore him and give him a taste of his own medicine

ignore him. guys can't stand to be ignored. you are being obvious about trying to make him jealous. if you ignore him then he'll come back to you and not the other way around. and how did you find those pictures?
