Background to the question. Was seeing a guy casually for 7 months, and 2 months ago, we spilt up and have not spoken since. About 10 days ago I got the message below, if you sent it, what would your intentions be

¨Hi there, i am on my way to your area. I hope that you are ok. If you fancy a chat, i´ll be there by 3. take care¨¨

Was it just friendly? Thanks

If you had gone you'd know. Did you? It might be or then again not. He couldn't have said 'oh, I missed you & want us to be together' or 'are you for a quickie since I am around' or 'let's be friends' or 'I am all alone here so I thought to see you than being on my own' . Men are just as complicated as we are. So, either text him casually apologising for not meeting him or forget it & wait for him to show up again.

I hope the best for you!

Sounds like a last minute invitation, that caught you by surprise. Don't know about you, but I don't like those kind of surprises. I think you should have other plans..........if he tries to get in touch with you, give your regrets......sigh, wish I had known you were gonna be in the area, in advance. That is, if you want to get it on again.

you won't know what he means unless you see him...

instead of worrying about what he wants have a good think about what you want...
did you get on well enough to want to be friends?
are you still hoping for something more - how did it end and is this really likely?
are you up for a bit of flirty fun with no strings if that is all he is offering...

just be good to yourself and see what happens if you let him fly by...

Surely if this message was sent like 10 days ago he would have already arrived....if you met with him, then you'll already know his intentions....if you chose not to meet, then it's already too late....No?

Friendly? Yes.

Booty call? Maybe.

You decide if it's worth the risk.

I have to concur...he wanted SOME and yes he was freindly.
Some would just have said: "Wanna hump, I'll be there at 3."
