Hello, my eyesight is -3.25 on both eyes and I think I'm near-sighted (the one where you cant clearly see far things, like the chalkboard at school) and I've been researching lately on how people have been 'naturally' restoring their eyesight, whether it be eye exercises or blah blah but I haven't seen any real comments from people that have tried it. So if you have, please share your experience and if it has worked, please tell me which program/guide/exercises you are following.

Thanks!

methods like the bates method and the see clearly method have been scientifically debunked many times over. remember that the bates method was written when the worlds leading doctors and scientists believed that the human eye perceived images by PROJECTING light onto them like a flashlight. of course we now know that the human eye only receives light and does not project it.

its old, bad science.

I have worked with 2 different Ophthalmologists and 3 different Optometrist and all of them laugh at these programs.
Vision is determined by the shape of the eye ball and the contour of the cornea and there are NO exercises that can change this. . . . .you can exercise muscles but you can't exercise the eye ball or eye ball muscles.
Just as P.T. Barnum of Barnum and Bailey Circus was known to have said. . . . . "There is a sucker born every minute" and anyone who buys into this is one of those suckers who these people pray on.

I have astigmatism and I had to start wearing contacts to stop my dramatic vision loss when I was 12 yrs old. The doctor recommended Vitamin A pills and eating lots of colorful vegetables (esp. carrots). I was given eye exercises to try, but I tried them once and decided they weren't for me.
Contacts worked the best for me and stopped my vision loss.

No, I am nearly 59 and have not tried the methods (I use glasses) but have heard of the techniques. Read Dr. Bate's books on the subject and try the exercises, no harm.
