No, you do not have to belong to an organized religion to have faith. Yes, you can just believe what you find to be true, avoiding alliances with others who may require a package deal with things you do not consider to be true or good.

Faith is purely mental state of awareness of some super natural power, people say it the God. One should have a strong belief in mind that there is certain force working behind all the activities in the universe which also enables every body to lead peaceful and joyful life. World is to be made happy and peaceful co-existence is to be ensured at all cost and at all levels, but the it is evil thinking and doing of miscreatents for the present unrest. If one strongly believes that the supernatural power in which I believe wil make the word order in right way and I am one of the instruments in its hand to help her to do so.

Absolutely not. In my humble opinion, the things that confuse people about God the most come from the religions themselves. The 'Dogma' and the 'Will of God' are not always the same things.
The basics, the spirituality of the Word, is often lost in translation and interpretation.
The English 'King James Bible' is a fourth generation translation. Talk to scholars who are fluent in Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek. They will each show you different examples of modern misconception.
I like to go to the Mosque on Fridays, the Synagogue on Saturdays and then my Church on Sundays.

My mother in law is a devout christian but she doesn't go to church and doesn't claim any particular denomination. She has a bright and open outlook on life and a very tolerant attitude. As I have said before, Faith can be a marvelous thing- some people just spoil things by bringing religion into it.

No you don't have to belong to an organised religion to have faith, just the same as you don't have to go to a place of worship to pray.

For sure. All true faith begins regardless of any religious organization anyway. How you go about expressing and living out your faith is up to you. You will need to be among other believers though and that is a choice you will have to make, i.e. what congregation best suits you, etc.

'Faith' is nothing more than wishful, magical thinking, used as a lame and vacuous substitute for evidence. It is the key ingredient in the self-deception and self-delusion that leads to religious 'belief'. So... NO... you do not need to belong to an organized religion in order to delude yourself. You can achieve self-delusion all by yourself.

No, but why believe or pray to an unknown God, when the organised religion can inform you.

God no, though I feel all religion is highly corrupt. Since the founding of churchs, most of them were just power, control, and money hungry. They all still are, they just choose to ignore that part of their religions history (either that or they're completely ignorant to it). My best advice is have faith, choose your own beleifs, maybe share them with others, but do not give in to organized religion.

I believe you can believe in whatever you want to believe in, i am a religious person, but would not put it upon anyone else everyone is free to believe in what they want and if it gives them faith to get through their day then so be it.
