Ok, i've been talkin to this woman on-line, casually. A question i asked was what have you been doing for the last 10 years or so? So she told me what she had been doing. But also she added she broke up with her boyfriend. To me if i mentioned this to a woman, it probably put her off. But she said it briefly to me. any insights to what she's thinking?

she might want to explain why she is single and that she has had (and therefore is capable of) a serious relationship. she might have been single for a long time and she is trying to justify this.
