If you die before the rapture, do you want to be burried or cremated to a crisp? Some Christians are worried if they get cremated they will not have a resserected body. It does not worry me, as I will not be here anyway if I die before the rapture. So what would you chose, I mean you will be in Heaven anyway so why worry? Cremations are a little cheeper to have than a normal funeral which will cost at least 5 grand.

Most of the Christians I know don't give a hoot about literal interpretations, and that includes the rapture. Likewise, the manner in which a body is disposed of isn't dictated by our faith. Most are buried because it's a culturally familiar way of dealing with it. Some are cremated, and an uncle donated his body to science. Probably to be dissected by medical students; they have to start somewhere. Why are you interested in Christian beliefs? Is it because you have no faith in your own?

Person 1: "So, do you want to be buried or cremated?"
Person 2: "I don't know...surprise me!"

:-)

On a serious note, God knows where all the pieces are so it really doesn't matter at the rapture if we're cremated, buried or whatever. He won't have any trouble putting us back together and giving us bodies that last forever.

I dont know.

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

That cremation thing is so stupid. I wonder what a 200 year old body looks like after it has been in the ground for 200 YEARS?????????????????????.......... Far away, chocolate good, cremation bad.

I want to be buried in a forest and have a tree planted on me. Screw the rapture, I like the earth.

On the larger scale it is a story of abuse; physical, emotional, sexual abuse. It's also a story of racial prejudice and religious bigotry. It is a story of narrow minded stupidity. It is a story of hatred and self loathing.

You are not going to heaven because it does not exist, and even if it did, your past questions would exclude you anyway.
And a body is just a shell.

I'm not worried about it, either way. I don't care what happens to my body after I die.
