Adolf Hitler hated God fearing people. I can;t see him saying this. but it is true you need some faith in our schools. look at how the schools are going downhill after taking prayer out of them and progressible getting worse.. this has got to say something

I've been to Christian schools, I've been to secular schools, I've been to large private schools, I've been there done that in the school area. From a student's perspective, I have to say that I learned far more in the secular schools than I ever did anywhere else. I was allowed to choose whether or not I believed something, not guilted into a religion. There were more Christians at the secular schools than the Christian ones because they hated not having any freedoms. We as teens and children do not learn religiously like adults do.
I have to say that I disagree with him.

Of course I don't agree. The fact that it came out of Adolf Hitler's mouth makes it even more loathsome. Hitler used Christian rhetoric in public, but derided the whole concept of religion privately. Who cares what he had to say about anything? Unfortunately, makind must grapple with the ramifications of his existence for a long time. I've attended both secular and religious schools, and thought I received a fine education in both types of environments.

No, I think that school and religion can be independent of one another. My only problem is when a secular school teaches a theory that is unproven as fact. I dont want to see Bibles in secular schools, it isn't the place for Government to interfere. Unknowingly schools have encouraged the use of a state endorsed religion of atheism. By teaching evolution as fact.

It would be a dangerous idea to allow secular schools to teach religion because who would teach would they teach the way you or i would raise children would the teach according to a "it is written" without taking anything out of context, and when government any government has been combined with Church and the Church, any Church has been given government authority it has always led to people being killed for there faith, there is a good reason for the keeping apart of church and state, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

Do some research for yourself. See how life has changed since God has been taken out of our schools. I went to high school in the early 1970's. Much better environment to study in.

Yep, he said that. I believe he was about to get himself elected Chancellor or something like that at the time. And he really changed his tune three years later too, didn't he.
What we have to remember is that religion has never saved anyones soul. Only God can do that, through Jesus Christ.

Sorry fer cuttin' in - atheist - yet whoever stated it sounds grossly bigoted - it fairly is *very* grotesque and self-righteous - we want his/her variety some distance, some distance much less (not because of the fact of religion, yet becasue of intolerance and scarcity of information.) “Morality would not count on faith.” -- John Ruskin “The demise of dogma is the delivery of morality.” -- Immanuel Kant
