if as you say "A sin consists in loving something that God hates, or in hating something that God loves. " There is no sin for God loves all of his creation and wants all to find him.
Organized religions are only for the people on top who live off the rank and file. It's the original pyramid scheme
No one faith is true! The truth was given to various people over the millennium and filtered through their culture and communicated in a way they could understand.
The Buddhists got this much right "Each seeker must find their own path"

You ask many questions in one, and I'm a bit confused. I have not seen that religions make white right and black wrong.
Our culture does. I keep writing letters to editors to take the word "dark" out of every journalist's vocabulary. I'm sick of this using dark for negative everything.
Though not religious, I must say though, that religion, as I was taught it was quite the opposite, certainly before this culture corrupted it, and did the most ridiculously heinous and "sinful" thing I can think of and that is the genocide of the indigenous people and the use of human beings as slaves. They now seem to have brought that thinking right into the language.
But, outside the language, and in the Bible, I do not see what you state.
I was taught that sin is an offence against the law of God. No mention of hatred.....!
And, as a young girl in Catholic schools, I was taught that Satan was red, and that a red stain would be left on your soul, if you were bad. (Outside religion, a bad mood was a blue mood; if you were jealous, you were green with envy; if you were enraged, you were seeing red; if you were broke and owing money, you were "in the red," and if you were doing fine financially, you were "in the BLACK.")
I will never understand why James Earl Jones did the voice of Darth Vader (sp?); it was wrong of him to do that. It's wrong to call chocolate cake, "Devil's food cake," and white cake, "angel food cake," but is this religion? Where do you find this as religious teaching, this black-white thing.
The nuns wore black; the priests wear black. In the original Hamlet, his mourning clothes were white. White was associated with death.
And on. But religion? Hmmmmmm. I can think of Noah and Ham, and that troubles me. I see that reference and none in the New Testament. The people in the Bible were dark of color; we don't even know how dark they were; one can be certain, many were black. So, what makes you think it's religion that fosters this black-white thing, I wonder. It's our sick culture.

Good question. This is one of the reasons I am non-religious. Religion to me make very little sense. Christians even on this R&S forum threaten others with eternal damnation in hell etc etc.
Pretty sad really hey.
Does the modern world really have to base its beliefs on stories written by a group of shepherds some 2000 years ago ?
You continue to question things and work things out for yourself.

Christianity is a -religion of love- way of life. It does not condemn-it reaches out in love-
Christian is the name given to those that was Christ like. This was a name of mockery not one of praise. To be a true Christian is too love. God is love. And those that have the Spirit of God will love.
Anything that is man made have flaws. That which is God made is pure and perfect in the sight of God.
Those that have the Spirit of God loves. God is Love.

I don't believe in sin (though I don't mind the word) I do believe in consequence.
As a pagan I'm not particularly fussed as to what religion people are, if they don't use it as a weapon.
My faith does not represent god, the gods, One True Faith Syndrome (TM) or anything as such. I think they try to push faith on other people because either they think it makes themselves better for it, or they have a saving people thing.

You are saying "if" God created all things it should all be perfect. You are right.
However in the beginning God did create all things and all things were perfect. Until Man (Adam) disobeyed God. This brought cursings upon humans and on the earth. This resulted in diseases, hatred, greed, unfertile ground, basically evil.

You are not crazy. It just proves you can at least question and probe. And you are looking for truth, which everyone is looking for but religion does not hold all the answers. You will have to figure things out for yourself though.

sure. some canines have 2 colored nails by using their genetic make up. the white one enable you to verify the place the nerve endings/veins are so which you do not trim too some distance. darkish nails are to be trimmed slightly at a time. get your self a styptic pen in case you minimize too some distance into it to stop bleeding.

actually judeo-christians do not believe in join us or die, we just offered to introduce you to God and no strings attached. at least with me as a believer. "A sin consists in loving something that God hates, or in hating something that God loves," sound slike it would be right to most religions but a sin ultimatly is a transgression against God.
you know God hates it and you willingly do it anyway with no remorse.

Trying to keep it simple:
God is God - we're not.
If you're God, you get to make the rules for your creation.
If you're a loving God, you make sure the rules are not impossible to obey.
If you're a merciful God, you make a way for even those who may break a rule or two (or so) to get amnesty.
Read the Bible, it's a very interesting and informative piece of literature.
