I'm having a hard time picturing this. Are you on a ground floor? Is your house raised above ground (with a crawl space underneath)? It wouldn't seem so hard to get him out but you'll need more then a plumber - this is a structural problem. It DID happen to me once but that was a house I was renting when I was a grad student in a house that would be unlivable if I were not renting it. It only fell two feet though, the depth of the craw space.

The toilet fell thru?????? You need a plumber, and a carpenter, and someone to bathe the dog. Oh, and if you don't own your home. . . . . call the landlord.
