I know running is the best cardio exercise to help lose fat, however it makes my calves a lot larger. And genetically my calves are big because my whole family all have short thick calves. And I know running is just going to make my problem worst! So what can I do? Any exercises or suggestions?

Swimming might be better, you might also try learning to walk differently to use ;the other muscles in your leg more than the calf muscle itself.
Try shifting your body weight, and focus on pressing down through the heels which will place more of the emphasis on your glutes and hamstrings. Use those muscles to more, it may take practice.

Just stop feeding the baby cows for a while, I guess. Frankly, I don't see how your weight lose has anything to do with them.
