It stands for Heating, Ventilation & Air conditioning, it is not important to a mechanical engineer , the mechanical engineer is important to those process as he Design, install & maintain the equipments & ducts…etc, used to built the different systems.(1)Heating system 2) Ventilation System 3) Air conditioning System)

The field of HVAC is very important to Mechanical Engineers because they usually end up designing all of the major HVAC systems in the world.
The study of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning usually includes the study of Refrigeration Systems, and they are all included as a branch in the study of the science of Thermodynamics.
Many of the engineering students used to use the design of an HVAC system for a major building, using existing building plans as a reference, as a senior Mechanical Engineering project, or even as a project for a graduate degree.

HVAC means "Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning". HVAC has three main objectives;
1). to maintain a most appropiate temperature condition (by cooling in summer & heating in winter) in a space that can be a room, house, hospitals, shopping centre etc.
2). to provide a clean, fresh, dustfree air
3). to control humidity level for comfortness of humans i.e. control moisture contants
It is important field for mechancial engineers. Mechanical engineers involve in designing and installation of a HVAC system, its ducting arrangement and later on maintainance of compressors and blowers that use for handling air .
