Read my next sentence, and then read it twice again.
After U.S. troops defeated Saddam "The Butcher of Baghdad" Hussein, not one more person had to die.
Think about it. Not one. We LIBERATED Iraq from an evil tyrant, and gave the country the most precious gift of all: freedom. If Iraq becomes a democracy, it will never have to worry about war again because no two democracies have ever gone to war against one another.
It is MUSLIMS who are killing MUSLIMS, or causing them to die. Plain and simple, the insurgents are trying to destroy the legitimately elected democratic government of Iraq. All this cr@p about it being a rebellion against an occupier is pure nonsense. If the Iraqis had behaved normally, we could have left already. It is the insurgents who are forcing us to stay.
Like it or not, it is Muslims who are killing Muslims.

I will give a non-politically tainted answer.
The reason why there has been eternal strife between Muslims and Americans can be dated back to the split of the Abrahamic religions. From there, it became unceremonious for Europeans/Jews to feud with Muslims. Flashing back to now, there is no invasion. I would say that it's a forced liberation from one genocidal maniac and from a Terrorist Government. I can't say that its a great thing for people to die. I would rather there be minimum deaths, but if the world wants peace, it must prepare for war. It's sickening to think that many innocents have died. But sadly, its not by the hands of Americans that most of the deaths have occurred, it is by extremists.
Hopefully soon, there will be some type of stability where Muslims are given such a blood niche in the world society.

What happened to the peaceful religion the Muslims go by???
Does that include strapping bombs to themselves and walking into a public area and blowing themselves up???
As for the 6million number, I doubt that number, unless you counted them.
And amazing Muslims asked for help when Saddam was killing all of you people but do not like it when we help. I say (at this point) we should leave, let who ever wants to kill you kill you, and IF we are attacked again. Remember that saying. Made in America tested in Japan. Well that could be coming to a country you know.

I think you need to re-evaluate your numbers a little. The majority of the Muslims killed in Iraq is due to sectarian violence. Fighting between the Sunnis and Shites.
You might want to do a little more research before you ask your next question.

Narrated Thawban: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death. (AbuDawud, Book #37, Hadith #4284)
We are like the scum of the ocean right now. The USA might be the ones who invaded into Iraq right now.. .but then again, if us Muslims united and done away with Saddam, the USA would not have been able to make an excuse like Saddam being dangerous with WMAs.
Why didn't WE do anything about Saddam?? he was a very dangerous man who ordered and allowed so many people to be tortured and murdered. WE all knew about it!!
Maybe also if more of us Muslims are out in the streets in huge numbers protesting agains terrorism while holding signs and shouting things like "Stop using the name of Islam for your violence!!", that the rest of the world will see the numbers of us who do not support it.
but no, there are plenty of Muslims around to protest when things like those Danish cartoons were published, or when the Pope made those remarks in his one speech... but not when terrorists spread their hatred and do all their violence... They are the ones making our lives harder, making more people suspicious of us Muslims, associating Islam with hatred and violence. Why aren't we out there in huge numbers telling them to stop?

Could Not Be Said Better:
Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one pissed off lady.
'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 ? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was 'desecrated' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .
I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg 's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -you guessed it -I don't care ! ! ! ! !
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!
If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities happen here in our great country! And may I add:
'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.' -- Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add AND .......I hope you forward all this.
'If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.' Also by.. Ronald Reagan
One last thought for the day:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair 's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
'A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out.'
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Where do you get your figure of 6,000,000 Muslims killed by American troops?
Why not ask WHY DO MUSLIMS KILL OTHER MUSLIMS. If we did the same thing here for the same reason, you 'd have Methodists blowing up Baptists (along with other Methodists because they don't give a rat's patoot who they kill).
Now, go pray to your MOON GOD (Allah...PATOOY!)
