That my 20 pound cat likes to have his butt smacked really hard? Seriously....... I say "smack bum?" and he comes running and jumps up on the arm of the chair and starts scratching waiting for someone to smack his bum , really really hard! How freakin' weird is that?

Just to clear it up, I do not beat my cat either. I would never hurt any animal on this planet. I don't smack him that hard but if I do it too lightly he gets mad at me and tries to bite me. I would never cause an injury to my animals. He just likes what he likes.

Amazingly enough, I heard this A LOT when I worked at the vet clinic.
I can't explain it, but many cats like their bums whacked!
A friend of mine has a cat that comes running too. I could not believe it when she hit the cat so hard, it spun around on the tile floor!!! The cat purred and rubbed all over her! Odd indeed!
It just leads me to wonder (in all of these cases), how you ever found out he likes it? Why were you hitting your cat's bum?

I have a very large cat and he likes every thing done hard. He wants to be petted hard, scratched hard.I don't hit or beat my cat, but he loves spanks. I don't do it hard, but when he puts his butt in my face when I am on the computer I would spank it gently to get it out of my face. He istantly lays down and purrs knocking everything off my desk. Go figure.

Smacking them really hard can cause injuries, I wouldn't advise it. How about trying to scratch? It's about the location, not the smack, LOL.

Nah, that's not weird for a cat. All cats are a bit weird, haha, that's why we love them. Most cats I know love a heavy pat or scratch on their back near their tail. It makes them go crazy.

they will said that you smack bum and a cat well do it because they buy that one owner if she is not buying the owner teach the cat how and now the customer buy it and the said smack bum and the cat smack she/he jump the cat will jump it
