What do you think is the most prevalent in the world - love or hate.

I do not mean love as in sex, but love as in frienship or affection for others.

Hate I mean as in selfishness.

Hate. I think we have to work to love. That's why the world has so many problems today. No one wants to work at the love thing.

To truly love is a very difficult thing to do. It involves trust and sacrifice. In the modern age, you have to be very careful about who you choose to trust.

Hatred is just as difficult to do in the long run, honestly, but the difference is that the instinct to hate is probably built into the human brain as an evolutionary mechanism. It probably enabled our ancestors to kill their enemies in one moment of madness and then survive thereafter with less worries.

It seems hatred is more prevalent than true love in the modern age.

Its sad that so many ppl have the opinion that Hate is the dominant emotion. Our world would be in turmoil if so. Hate and meanness and fear sells on TV and the media in general and that's what some ppl buy into.

Turn off the TV and look at yourself and your neighbors. Are they/you hateful ppl. Do kind acts happen every day and get televised?

Fear sells, don't buy in. There are way more good ppl in the world then bad.

It depends on the innocence of the heart involved. Babies and children love almost always as their first response to others.

It is only when we get older and we've learned to distrust, or have had our pride hurt that hate takes the driver's seat.

I think hate gets more media attention anymore, and that grieves me! We should stand up and object to that. It's not like we need anymore lessons on how to hate, distrust or despise each other. I think more uplifiting stories would be better for everyone.

I unfortunately would have to say that hate is more prevalent. With the world being bombarded everyday with news of death, destruction and evil it can be hard to see otherwise.

However, there is much love in the world, but sometimes it can be hard to find.

I would say Love, but the world seems to contradict me. People find it much easier to readily hate others than to readily love them.

Hate. If you really mean selfishness.

I used to think the world was predominantly "loving". Until I grew up and was introduced to the "real" world.

It blows me away how much hatred I see every day.

Hate. Why do you think people have been murdered for being different since the beginning of time? Humans hate and fear what they don't or won't understand.
