Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder are not diagnosed together, so I am wondering whether you are being treated by a reputable psychiatrist who would clearly know better. When a person experiences psychotic symptoms such as what you are describing in the absence of acute depression or mania, yet has a history of Bipolar symptoms, it is generally diagnosed as Schizoaffective Disorder. Please consult a competent psychiatrist who is familiar with assessment and treatment of a serious condition such as what you are describing-a GP is not qualified to treat this.
There is not enough info here for me to provide an accurate diagnosis either, but I will add that tactile hallucinations (feeling creepy crawly stuff) are usually organic in nature and I would make sure that there are no neurological or other organic factors contributing to your symptoms. If there are any other meds that you were prescribed for other medical conditions prior to the onset of these symptoms, be certain that the psychiatrist knows about them as tactile hallucinations make me suspicious of med interactions or other organic factors.
Good Luck!

Was it a correct prognosis? I cannot inform from what you will have written. No one else right here can both. The finest proficient on the planet on bipolar sickness cannot inform from what you will have written or despite the fact that you wrote out plenty extra knowledge. It takes an comparison by way of a well psychologist or psychiatrist, perhaps even 2. I have bipolar sickness. My first mania got here at age 34 while a psychiatrist suggestion I had despair best, took me off lithium that I were on for cyclothymia, and placed me on an antidepressant. He used to be mistaken. Doctors make errors the opposite direction, too, diagnosing a moody sufferer as bipolar while they are no longer, specially if the sufferer has substance abuse. Even a psychiatrist can get the prognosis mistaken. Sometimes it takes time to discover what any individual's prognosis relatively is. Some participants with bipolar sickness are extra suffering from it than others, however by and large if men and women do not take meds, it does worsen. If there may be anything you and your daughters are enduring now, sure, it's going to most probably worsen with out remedy. If you'll use that with him to coax him to be re-evaluated, cross forward. Re-comparison does not dedicate him to be on treatment. It permits you to each recognise what you are handling, greater than a prognosis that is years historic does. A psychologist or psychiatrist could inform him now that it isn't most probably bipolar sickness, however anything that could be dealt with really otherwise, with psychotherapy or or else. On the opposite hand if he does have bipolar sickness, both you can actually provide an explanation for in your husband that present meds are obviously larger than seeking to "recover from it". Your husband has to wish to difference, it doesn't matter what the main issue is, to develop up if he will see it that approach. Changing for the sake of the youngsters is normally a well motivator. If your husband hasn't gotten into obstacle on no meds, it does elevate the query of whether or not his prognosis used to be correct. Try to support him get an additional comparison by way of a psychologist or psychiatrist, so either one of you realize the obstacle. Then cross from there.

I feel you girly. I've had depression before and I was just like you, I didn't want to leave home. I liked to be in the dark all the time, and most of my days were spent in bed. My advice to you, take your meds everyday. If you do that, chances are that you won't be on them forever. Go to therapy as ur suppose to, but aside from talking to your therapist, speak to your friends, speak to your family. You will learn that you have more friends than you think. Are you religious?? There are so many religious groups in which the people in that group will pray with you and for you, and if you need them to, will become your family. Religion will help with the demons. Good Luck, I will pray for you.

Last year I was diagnosed with the same exact things except I only have a mild schizophrenia and I'm well... not perfectly alright, but still I don't think it's a completely bad thing, the worse thing is I was prescribed mood stabilizers and all they did was change me, it's better to be an individual and I know that you'll power through it.

It's pretty serious. If you were diagnosed with this by a doctor, he should give you medicine for it. You should definitely take the medicine every day, without fail. You can also visit a psychiatrist or a therapist, and there are support groups for both you and your husband. These are the best things you can do for yourself right now. Good luck.
