Nice answers... and of course some really stupid answers... I know that deaf people are capable of having clinical death. I just want to know how their experience, if they heard anything for the first time...

I am not deaf, but I can tell you a couple of good resources for nearth death experiences. There a couple of books called, "Closer to the Light" and "Children of the Light". They were written by an MD. I think his name might be Stephen C Moody, but I'm not sure. I read the books about fifteen years ago. He reported these as clinical patient reportings. But they happened to people of all ages, and all faiths. It's a very encouraging read. And really very interesting.

I'm not deaf, or blind, or had a near death experience. However, any times that I have received communication that I have chalked up to being from the spiritual realms, those communications have been telepathic. Often the idea is presented in it's entirety, then broken down in to parts where I can attach words to it, and digest it, but I feel the idea in it's entirety first. If I am understanding your question correctly, you are asking if deaf people suddenly hear when they have an NDE. I could be wrong, but personally I think that telepathic communication on the other side is "heard" or "seen" differently from what we call hearing or seeing on this side. It's not a physical thing in a place where we have no physical ears, and perception for all of us would be different on the other side, from what we are accustomed to in third dimensional, linear perception, I think. So to answer your question, yes, and no. Deaf people would "hear", blind people would "see", but for all of us, perception on the other side is different than it is here.

Well, among my Deaf pals, many were born Deaf, but some were born hearing and later deafened at an early age. Many of those who were born hearing but later went deaf, tell me they don't remember their time at hospitals recovering from cases like whooping cough, scarlet fever, meningitis, etc. Also, one turned deaf from being electroded, another from a head injury. Several others blame reactions to medications. As for near-death experiences, all have gone through several days of being sedated, but none remembers a thing during their illness.

Me neither. I had meningitis and I'm Deaf now.

Yes, the blind can read stuff on the web. They use screen readers to turn text into audible voice messages. If they must sign or log on Yahoo Answers using CATCHPAS, it wouldn't do them any good since the screen readers cannot bypass those damn things.

Blind people can too use the Internet. You do know they have special communication devices for that purpose, right? Like audio and whatnot?

But as for your question, no I haven't had any near death experiences yet. Unless being numb from severe depression counts.

Anyone can experience a near death experience. What does deaf or blind have to do with it? It is not something we see or hear .....it is something we feel.....& experience from then on.

I should be completely deaf within the year. It has been a slow thing where hearing aids and such have not worked. I cannot afford a huge surgery even if that were an option. My question is do we get immediate hearing after death or is it progression depending on faith? Thanks. Please be in touch somehow okay?

It sounds like you're useless or in a coma. Then someone tries to choke you to demise, you could not see that man or woman for it really is darkish interior your head. yet contained in the accurate that someone become in basic terms attempting to carry an end on your suffering. you gained't imagine what it feels elect to be alive yet can not flow or talk.
