I don't think so. As much as Americans claim they are American they are actually not. I was the only person to put out a US flag in my area which is generally "American". How many flags did you see?

My flag flies 24 hours a day. I replace it 2 - 3 times a year. Not only did my flag fly today, but I, along with several others, flew it from my motorcycle (3'x5 flag) as we escorted a fallen soldier, Corporal Aaron Gutier, U.S. Army from his memorial service at Ft. Monroe to the Veterans' Cemetery in Hamton, Va.
When was the last time YOU attended the funeral of an American Military Vet or a fallen Military Man/Woman to show honor and respect to that person? Never? That's what I thought.

I'm the wife of a U.S. Soldier who is on his second deployment. I don't need the constant reminders of my patriotism. My sacrifice is enough. So no, I didn't hang up a flag.
I'm not ungrateful for the displays of support. I guess instead of the displays and competitions about who's "American" and who's not (determined by the flag on their house, car, etc.) I'd like to see people join the military and serve instead.

I think a proud American should always have their flag out, I am a proud American unfortunately my flag is at my mother's house, recently moved out. Also, is this for memorial weekend?

Mine flies every day. I see 4 from my windows right now. I even have the flag and a POW/MIA flag on the aerial of my truck.

im not a fan of people who just get the flag out on holdiays... im my opinion it should be out every day
but then again im jus a crazy chick from England who own nearly 60 US flags!
so come on Americans get those stars and stripes flying (and dont leave it flyin when its tatty and frayed either cos that just pisses me off!)

I didn't see any. However, I live in a town that has a large population of Hispanics and they all fly the Mexican flag.
