Jesus was baptized by his cousin John for an example to the ppl to follow when they accepted Him.
There are 3 spirits,the blessed trinity,Father,Son & Holy Ghost.
Therefore we baptize in the name of the Father,Son & Holy Spirit,or ghost.
But all are one. There are no other gods, just one God.

Acts 10:40 4-40 8: 40 4 on an identical time as Peter grew to become into nonetheless talking those words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all people who heard the observe. 40 5 and those of the circumcision who believed have been astonished, as many as got here with Peter, via fact the present of the Holy Spirit were poured out on the Gentiles additionally. 40 six For they heard them talk with tongues and amplify God. Then Peter replied, 40 seven “Can every person forbid WATER, that those should not be baptized who've won the Holy Spirit in basic terms as we've?” 40 8 And he commanded them to be baptized interior the call OF THE LORD. Apostolic Believer in a single God, JESUS Edit @ Juice, are you asserting God did issues "backwards" in Acts 10:40 seven-40 8 whilst they have been FIRST, and enormously baptized with the Holy Spirit and in a while baptized in WATER? Does God no longer have the main stunning to do issues as He chooses? How could desire to Peter, who grew to become into given the very keys to the dominion, be "puzzled" regarding the elementary plan of salvation?

The Bible says,
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)

Peter (Acts 2:38) did not contradict Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).

The phrase, "in the name" means by the authority or according to the instructions. "In the name of Christ" means by the authority of Christ or according to the instructions of Christ. You cannot follow His authority without submitting to what He taught.

The Father, the Son (Jesus, "the Word" - John 1), and the Holy Ghost all are in one accord. To obey the commandment (authority, instructions) of one is the same as following all three.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit all three authorized the same baptism. Now there is "one baptism".(Eph 4:4-5) When you obey the Baptism that Jesus commanded (when you are baptized in Jesus name; according to His authority), then you are also following the same authority handed down from the Father and the Holy Spirit!

The three are one! (1 John 5:7)

The bible was written by man. You think Jesus actually took the time out of his obviously busy schedule to write a book? Why do you think the book of the bible are named after people? And not only that but there was much more written than was put in the bible. It was man that decided what was to go in the bible. Also it was written in another language and translated from one language to another. No one knows what the original books actually said. Now are you saying that you really care about how other people see Jesus, God, and a Holy Spirit? If you don't believe then you don't. Some do and that is their right and privilege. Do I believe? Nope. I have my own religion and it doesn't involve the Christian God.

THE HOLY BIBLE SAYS,The Trinity of God
M't:3:13: Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
M't:3:14: But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
M't:3:15: And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
M't:3:16: And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
M't:3:17: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
THERE IS THE FATHER,SON AND THE HOLY GHOST.

Deity of Jesus Christ
Joh:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh:1:2: The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh:1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh:1:4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh:1:5: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
I and my Father are one
Joh:10:22: And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
Joh:10:23: And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
Joh:10:24: Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Joh:10:25: Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
Joh:10:26: But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Joh:10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh:10:28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh:10:29: My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh:10:30: I and my Father are one.
Joh:10:31: Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Joh:10:32: Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
Joh:10:33: The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Joh:10:34: Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Joh:10:35: If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Joh:10:36: Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Joh:10:37: If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
Joh:10:38: But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Joh:10:39: Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
Joh:10:40: And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
Joh:10:41: And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
Joh:10:42: And many believed on him there.
WE ARE TO HAVE GODS UNDERSTANDING,AND NOT MENS.The promise of the Holy Spirit
Joh:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh:14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh:14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh:14:18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Joh:14:19: Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
Joh:14:20: At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Joh:14:21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Joh:14:22: Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Joh:14:23: Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Joh:14:24: He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
Joh:14:25: These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
Joh:14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh:14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Joh:14:28: Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Joh:14:29: And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
Joh:14:30: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Joh:14:31: But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
