I'm using an insulin that requires converting micrograms to units. I was wondering what 1 microgram would equal 1 unit

Are you using Symlin? Dose conversion from micrograms to unit are as follows:
15 mcg - 2½ units
30mcg - 5 units
45mcg - 7½ units
60 mcg - 10 units
120 mcg - 20 units

everything depends on the dilution of your insulin, the best you can do is go to your pharmacist so he can tell you the right conversion in your case, remember that insulin overdose is very dangerous. oh and 1 microgram isn´t equal to 1 unit so don´t try it.
