I am 41 years old and grew up on PBS tv - Detroit. Sesame Street was not only on my TV ...but My daddy had 8 tracks with Sesame Street ..that he played in the car. I am ode.
Rubber Ducky your the one...dah da Dah .. Your so Fun... Rubber Ducky... I must have been 3.
I have to say that I have huge memories of SS. I loved the guy who taught on short films - With Cakes/Pies how to count.
I as well was a dear and true fan of Grover. I still love Super Grover..he always slipped thru all the main characters. I taught my baby her ABC's via Grover's voice. I can actually do Grover's voice quite well. Due to the fact my personal attachement to him and love. I bought her a Elmo when she was an infant. way back when.. she is 16 now. And he just never grabbed me. She loved him. But I have to say Grover Rules. Power to the Purple People.

I was about 13 when Sesame Street first started being produced :-) However, I was a great fan of Captain Kangaroo and Mister Greenjeans, along with Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose, Grandfather Clock, and Dancing Bear ;-)

Mine was Barkley (and yes I miss him too), the honkers, the ones that were like aliens that said "yep, yep, yep", and Snuffy for the puppets.

For humans I liked Bob and Linda, Luis and Mr. Hooper (died back in the mid 1980s I think).

I only liked one character and that was Grover.
I always liked the skit where Grover played the waiter and he had to keep going back to the one table with the customer and the order was never correct.

sure Oscar the grouch became great, and so became Animal, whom you in basic terms observed some situations till the Muppets became a show. I additionally enjoyed "the electrical powered business corporation" with an extremely youthful Morgan Freeman, and that i've got faith it became Rita Moreno.

I wanted cookie monster to be my boyfriend all the way up to 5th grade. He was sooo cute with his cross eyes and blue fur. I also liked Oscar the grouch, and snuffle-lumpakis.
