When John 1:1, "Word was God" was changed in the NWT to "Word a God". Is this in the Mormon translation too?

Looks like a misprint. The Hebrew/Aramaic says,
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with Eloah (God), and Eloah was the Word.

As pertaining to the Mormon translation (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)
In my Bible the original King James version reads as:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
And in the Joseph Smith Translation it reads as:
1 In the beginning was the gospel preached through the Son. And the gospel was the word, and the word was with the Son, and the Son was with God, and the Son was of God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made which was made.
4 In him was the gospel, and the gospel was the life, and the life was the light of men;
5 And the light shineth in the world, and the world perceiveth it not.

NWT, forgive me if I am wrong is the Jehovahs Witnesses version of the bible isnt it? If so distregard it as the JWs have changed the bible to suit their own beliefs, as taught to them by the watch tower. Not the true word of god.

I don't know when, but I will speak of it..the new world translation is most definitely not a valid version of God’s word. there are differences between all the major english translations of the bible. no english translation is perfect. while other bible translators make minor mistakes in the rendering of the hebrew and greek text into english; the NWT intentionally changes the rendering of the text to conform to jehovah’s witness’ theology. the new world translation is a perversion, not a version, of the bible

We use the KJV of the Bible. It says the same thing as every other KJV does.
