My choice would be Delta Force.
Excellent marksmanship, rigorus training, and most of all, very hard to become.
Did you know this? Just to become qualitifed for being a cadet of Delta Force, you have to be in either Green Beret or other elite Army units for many years.
As you may or may not know, the U.S. goverment believes on the DF's ability so much, that most of the important secret operations evolve around the Delta Force, and many times Rangers are just supportive units.
Many military analysists agree that the Delta Force is the best of the best.

In my opinion -THE NAVY SEALS-DEVGRU
It is a fact the the Navy SEALs have the toughest military training in the world. Their training is documented and studied-NOTE this is their basic training so don't everyone freak out saying how can we know because its classified. Their is no military basic training that has not been analyzed including the SAS and most military experts agree SEAL basic training is the toughest. That being said one can assume that it spawns the best warriors that can adapt and take almost anything war can through at them. Its true they are not perfect-no human is. But know this-no SEAL has ever been left behind in a mission and no SEAL has ever been captured. Not even the famed SAS can say that.
DEVGRU is the Navy's equivalent to the Army's delta force, and is the best of the Navy SEALs and is still classified of its details.
P.S. Rangers actually are not "special operators" they are special infanty, not true special forces. and only MEN are aloud to be special operators.

It is hard to compare apples and oranges to pears and peaches.
Each of the units named as the best or better than the other are trained for different missions within the military.
Rangers can not do what Navy S.E.A.L.S do because they are not trained to be S.E.A.L.S and the reverse is also true.
Special Forces can not do what the Delta Force is trained to do and the reverse is also true.
Maybe the question should be on certain missions who would be best to accomplish the mission with the fewest losses?
Some of the elite forces are compatible with each other because of the training they receive, but still each is trained for different missions.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

As far as Training goes yes the US Army Rangers have the longest training. Delta Force takes only the best of the best from every Special Forces/Special Ops group. However, I would have to go with the original commandos the Brittish Special Air Service a.k.a. the SAS

If you rate "elite" as the longest training, then US Army Special Forces is it. The training for SF is TWO YEARS. Really. Ranger School is only 8 weeks.
In Iraq it was all the same. It doesn't matter what fancy stuff you have on your uniform or what branch you are in. If you're patrolling the streets in Iraq, you're good enough for me.
