I've known this girl for about 3yrs. I was interduced to her thru my exgirlfriend (it's her step sister) and we become good friends. she wanted more at first but she was going thru a divorce so I knew it wouldn't last. Well, the longer I've known her the more I like her. Some days she acts the same way but if I compliment her on her looks she tells me to quit sucking up. When I look at her my heart races, chills run thru me, and I just want to grab her and kiss her. I just don't want to ruin our friendship if she doesnt feel the same way. I don't know what to do.... should I tell her how I feel and see waht her reaction is or should I act on impulse and just kiss her to see how she reacts? I am so lost.
Also she has a little girl that just adores me and I her. I want to be everything for them both.
What should I do.... PLEASE HELP!!

we've been to dinner a couple of times. Today I went to a wedding of a coworker of hers as her date but she always says we're just friends but acts differently. she also suffers from depression and is taking meds for it. there's times I won't hear from hear for weeks cause she just wants to be alone

I think you should ask her out to dinner (just as friends). Then express yourself IN a way that she will understand. She probably has a hint that you like her BUT she is not too sure.. And with everything that is going on in her life.. he is really burying a lot of her feelings. She needs a friend now more than ever. Like I said, you see her pain because you really care for her.. So let her know in a subtle way and see how she responds.. To kiss her may be a little to forward (this is not the movies)... She would be happy to know how you feel. RECAP - Ask her out..and time will present itself when you can let her know how you really feel.

Well , any nice person after being complemented would
at least say thank you. She sounds rude. On the other hand she was probably hurt and does not trust men.
3 years is a long time to know somebody and still not
know where you stand. You sound like a very nice guy and its very stupid of her not to appreciate you. If she does not understand that don't worry- there are a lot of women that will. Good men are fast becoming an endangered species. Good luck!

Did the divorce go thru yet?
If so, go out to dinner one night, and just have a nice long talk, and tell her your feelings, see what she says.
Don't just jump and kiss her, you might get slaped.

But when u start, make sure wha u say wont make her feel xtra queer or anything and be confident in urself ok?

i would def. tell her how you feel, if you really feel so passionate about her(and her daughter).
since you guys seem to be good friends, telling her how you feel won't be so bad.
don't just kiss her out of no where- she`ll think you're creepy and thats always bad. just straightout tell her & be completely honest.

call her one day and say hey do you wanna go out tonight...and kinda joke with her...be like I would love to take you on a date and see how she reacts...the worse thing she can do is say no...but you still have kept her as a friend...

u should frist tell her how u feel and if she reacts good then ask her out on a date then after ur date slip a kiss and see what happens next!!!
