I have to laugh at all those who are telling you to mind your own business. Apparently, missed the Biblical teaching about being our brother's keeper.

You are right to be concerned about your aunt. Find out more about why your aunt has suddenly decided to "forsake" Catholic Christianity for non-Catholic Christianity.

While it is not wrong for a Catholic to attend a non-Catholic "function", say - out of curiosity. However, your aunt is wrong to assume she can worship - as a Catholic - in a non-Catholic Church.

Again, find out more about why your aunt is doing what she's doing. Then you will know if she really is doing it for the wrong reasons, and, if so, you will know what to do about it.

She is seeing that they are free to sing and be happy and make a joyful noise onto the Lord!, and her spirit is hearing the truth being preached in power. Unless the Pastor is not preaching about Jesus and How He came to set the captives free, and we are able to do the things He did and is doing through us the church

Jesus says you will know the truth and the truth will make you free!!
Christianity is not a religion, it is a lifestyle.
She is fine!!! you could be concerned if she did not even attend any church and wanted to hang out with the wild crowd that did not have anything to do with God
God did not put denominations or catholics or protestants as the worldly people call them into existence. Man has done that under a religious spirit.
God did not make man/woman to be a catholic, Lutheran, Pentacostal, prespryterian, Methodist, Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah Witness, Baptist, Muslim, Islam, or any other religious group.
God made man/woman to worship Him and not anyone else.
No man can come to the Father except through Jesus, read the book of St John and the Hebrews chapter 1 and you will see that God does not say you must be any one of the above that I wrote down.
The bible also says, No man/woman can come except the Father draws them, so I believe she is being drawn into a closer relationship to Jesus.
We confess our sins to Jesus who is our high priest, and are to confess our faults to one another and we will be healed. Read the book of 1st John 1:9 it says if we confess our sins, He ( He ) is faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrightiousness. This can only be done after we are reborn of the spirit and have Jesus in our life, as Lord and Saviour.
Man has put their own titles in.
In the book of Ephesians, you will see the callings of what is known as the 5 fold ministry, Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints. Now when we become born again or reborn of the spirit we are called saints. You will see in many instances in the bible where St Paul is talking to the saints, and he is not talking to the dead.

Why don't you go to church with your Aunt and check it out, see what is happening, You might like it!!
We were created to worship God in Spirit and in Truth and have joy unspeakable (cannot describe it) and full of Glory!

No, if she is not careful she is on the road to heresy. Please pray the daily Rosary for her comeback. Explain to her that the Roman Catholic church is the only church that has come down directly from Christ and the Apostles . All other christian denominations are man-made and will not assure her salvation. If she has stopped going to Mass she is already living in mortal sin and if add to it, she decides to forsake Catholicism there is great danger for her soul.

I will give you a link with some excellent articles. Maybe you could pass them on to her:

I think you are a little confused. Being Christian and catholic are the same thing. A person that is Catholic is allowed to go to a Christan church.

Your question's wording indicates that you put Catholics and Christians in a different category. I thought that Catholics were also Christians. Do they not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came to earth to die for our sins so that if we believe He is the Son of God and accept His gift of salvation, we can have eternal life? If so, then I fail to see the problem with your aunt attending non-Catholic Christian churches. Sure, the style of preaching is different, and there are very few rituals as in the Catholic churches, but we worship the same God and believe the same thing, even if the style and traditions and way of worship are different.

Greek Orthodox Church begat the Roman Catholic Church which begat Protestantism.

You've got it backwards. She's already a Christian, and now she's going to a radical breakaway church.

Relax, its not like she in going to orgies... she is going to church cut her some slack. Maybe she does just like listening to the pastor teach nothing wrong with that. Or maybe she wants more than just a 10 minute homily for teaching.Or just maybe she is searching for something new.

She's tired of being ignored by Catholic priests, who only have eyes for little boys. She likes the new hunky reverend and wants a little taste. Who are you to deny her that.
