I know the illegals cannot vote. But my father came here legally from overseas, became a citizen. But he was not against his old country. He still had very passionate feelings about it, and the people there. So, by giving amnesty to the illegals are they pinning their hopes on buying the vote from all the Mexican citizens here who can vote? They have pride in their heritage, and I don't begrudge them that. I have pride in my heritage too. But my theory is, that by allowing amnesty to people who share that heritage, they will sew up the Mexican vote in America.
Any thoughts on this? I mean, there must be a payoff for allowing 20 million people amnesty who came here by breaking the laws of this country.
Before everyone says that the news is saying 12 million, that is a rather light estimate. I get mine from the counters here.

Thank you for any insightful opinions on my theory.
