Canadians are very friendly to immigrants they will meet you with open arms and legs.

I can't speak for all Canadians, but generally I don't believe Canadians treat immigrants any better than anyone else, especially if they start trying to change our laws and culture to suit themselves. That just boils my biscuits.

Or if they come here and bring their baggage with them.

On the other hand, are immigrants friendly to Canadians? I haven't seen any glowing examples.

Yes, especiallyy if they have a camera. Photography seems to be the national past time in Canada.
