what should i do?
my date can't drive either. im a senior.
i can't go in a group, and can't pay for a limo
any advice?

get a ride with a friend who CAN drive..
why cant' you go in a group though? that would be easiest..
last resort, get an older sibling (or last last last last LAST! resort) your parents.......... but thats only if you're like totally desperate.

TownCars are less expensive then a Limo.
Trust me, I work for a Limo Co.
Call around to differnt limo co's. and ask what their rates are.
Tell them EXACTLY what you and your date want to do that night...DON'T ask for the car to stay with you the entire trip.
See if you can get a POINT TO POINT without getting billed hourly, in otherwords, for most proms, you get billed for like 3 to 4 hrs. straight,
Be prepared to PREPAY for your trips.
Going then comming back is considered 2 trips.
Or, what if you pay your mom or dad, to take you.
They could be your chauffuer.
Take you then pick you up.
P.S. If you do get a Towncar, or Limo, DON'T EVEN THINK OF TRYING TO GET BOOZE INTO THE CARS,,,,IF THE DRIVER SMELL IT OR EVEN THINK YOU'VE GOT BOOZE OR HAD BOOZE THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOU...EVEN IF THEY DRIVE UP TO THE PLACE THEY WILL TURN AROUND AND TAKE YOU HOME, BECAUSE IF THEY WERE TO GET PULLED OVER BY THE POILICE FOR ANY REASON, AND THE COPS SMELLED BOOZE THEN THE DRIVER GETS ARRESTED, THE CAR GETS TOWED, AND YOUR PARENTS GET CALLED!
ALL DRIVERS KNOW ABOUT THIS AND ARE GIVEN DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH PROM NIGHT.

Why can't you go in a group, and why can't you go in a limo?
May want to rethink this or you could be a total dud for a prom date....
Consider asking a friend if you can ride with them (TOTALLY tacky but a last resort) or ask your parents to drive you.

surely you can aford a taxi? call ahead see what it would cost, and they can drop you off near the school but not at it. can't you 2 bum a ride with one of your friends? how about give somebody [or a neighbor] $20. to drop you guys off? It's only transportation the main thing is you have a good time.

Get a group of friends to split the cost for a limo. Thats the best way to go.

have an older person with a car "shoufer" you around. pay them twenty bucks. but it can't be two older ppl. just you, your date and the driver.
you and your date have to sit together in the back to make it seem taxi-ish.

Find a relative or one of your parents friends that has a nice looking car and get them to drop you off its not all about the car.

walk?? ride a bike or horse? i have no idea. a taxi maybe? couldn't you just catch a ride? if not, then i guess mom and dad will have to take you.
