Stereotyping is all it is. Just like certain races have stereotyping.

It's not that all blondes are dumb, its the fact that the one's who are ruin it for every other blonde. Also the stereotypical blonde is lacking a bit of common sense. However, I have seen brunettes who have less "brains" than some of the so called "dumb blondes." It also comes from all the classic TV shows where most of the blondes have the "Valley Girl" personality. And with that I really hope I don't sound too old...

My gf is blond and far from dumb. She can play the part, but it's a stereotype.

well i am blonde and i am far from being dumb...
but anyhow it is called stereotyping and i dont get mad unless it gets out of control like really basking women with blonde hair like constantly...i actually think that they are funny because it was probably a man that came up with them on a saturday night when he was sitting all by himself because he couldnt get a date ...lmao

A blonde decides to try horseback riding, despite having had no lessons or prior experience. She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle. In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip. She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly oblivious to its slipping rider.

The same reason people think Mexicans are slow, Africans are criminals, and all southerners hate everything...stereotypes. They're not true, but people sure do enjoy using them all the time. Ignore the ignorance of others.
