If you asked a guy if he ever had feelings for you and he said maybe do you think that means he did or didn't? I just want to know if he ever liked me & maybe is the only answer he will give me. Serious answers only as I am feeling kinda bad about myself. Thanks to all who answer.

"Maybe" means "yes"! If he didn't, he would just say "no" or he would say, "You know, I've always liked you as a friend." Guys (this is all guys),sometimes we like the "safe answer". If you started laughing at him or said "Really, well I have never like you other than as a friend", he could say, "yea...that is why I said maybe...I didn't want to hurt your feelings, but the anser is no just like you". By saying "maybe" he can go either way depending upon your response. He probably likes you but is not sure that you feel the same way...and by saying "maybe" , he does not have to worry about losing face if you are not interested. Why don't you take the next step and hint that you kind of like him, and see what happens next! (Sounds like fun, and that a nice romance is developing!) Good luck with it!

I hate to tell you this..but i think it means he does have feelings for you but he kind of has his mind on someone else too. If a guy gives you this kind of answer, you should just forget about him. He's probably a really fickle person.

I asked myself that question about my last relationship, did he really like me.
Dont feel bad about yourself, hes the *** hole. Some people have no conscience, but I say "what goes around comes around". You will find someone who really likes you.
Forget about him hes not worth the heartache. I know its easy for me to say but i think that the best solution. Thats what i did, or im trying to do, and time is healing.

Depends on how he's saying,"Maybe".
If he's saying with a smile on his face, he's probably just teasing you, and did or does have feelings, and just to shy to say :"Yes".
But, if he's saying "maybe": without a smile and very serious, then I doubt very much he had any real feelings and just saying maybe to have you be quiet about it.

When a guy says maybe, it because they're afraid of saying yes but scared as hell to say no. So basically you can take it as a yes. Show him what ur like, he'll probably fall for you.

heh to be completly honest some guys just lie so they can get into a relationship its really hard to know if they're telling the truth the best way is for guys to show you physically (not like bad stuff) but when they compliment you i know i do it all the time with my gf i hold her and and look into her eyes and tell her how much feelings i have for her and ik it shows because im not like looking off saying oh yeah i do.... and just say yup..
but look at his eyes and if his lips see if he bites them.
but another thing idk who you are or how you look but never feel bad about yourself even when your life goes completly dim and it feels like nothing good is going to happen you cant let it win ik its sounding weird comming from someone but the best way is to keep your head high and know that someone out there is looking for you and know that your living.

Here is what I think:
When a girl says "maybe", it surely means yes as she wants you to dig deeper to find the answer.
When a guy says "maybe", it surely means no but he doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
I could be wrong but that's just my opinion.

If he said it in a confused, dont want to hurt you way, he probably didn't. But if he said it immediately like he didn't have to think about it and serious or happy, then he did.

do not feel bad - he is the one who could not give an honest answer
maybe is a cop out answer ..... for either you did or did not
if he does not appreciate you for who you are and what you have to offer in a relationship - that is his loss - not yours

I have feelings for this guy too and i want to know if he likes me or not and everone knows and everyone says "he says maybe" So probably yes just wait was is going to happen and if he says no.............make him jealous ;)
