Ok I know I am hitting this early but my daughter will need a prom dress for next year and my question is how much advance should we give in searching for the perfect dress? Any advice on this is appreciated and welcomed. I just want it to be a year she wont forget and alot will be going on so I do not want her to miss anything.

go a few months before!! never leave it to the last minute. you don't want to buy one out of desperation and you definitely don't want her to have the same dress as anyone else. make sure you keep an eye out for unique dresses that you can buy and she'll have a blast at prom

You defiantly can start looking for ideas, but she'll probably change her mind later on. I recommend no earlier than 6 months. I bought my prom dress about a month before my prom.

Well it all depends whether your going to buy it or have it made.... I suggest you start looking for it 5 - 6 months before PROM... Remember you have to get the accessories, makeup, limousine rentals, etc depending on what you want.... Good Luck and I'm sure she'll have a blast... A night to remember forever :)

i trust yo mom. start up lookin now. there are various great sales goin on because of the fact this is after Thanxgiving. yet lookin in the direction of your budget might desire to help u verify whether to get it custom made or offered from a save.

If you want a good deal, buy one now. This year's prom season is pretty much over so there are a lot of sales.
